Occupational Safety & Health Administration U.S #78778141
Description
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is a federal agency within the U.S. Department of Labor. Established by the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSH Act) in 1970 and effective in 1971, its main goal is to ensure safe and healthy working environments for employees. OSHA works to ensure safe and healthy workplaces. Key functions include developing and enforcing safety standards, conducting inspections, and providing training. It also protects workers who report violations and requires employers to record work-related injuries and illnesses. OSHA covers most private-sector workers in the U.S. and its territories. Federal OSHA enforces laws in many areas, while some states have approved state plans. Federal agencies are also covered. Exclusions generally include the self-employed and workplaces regulated by other agencies. To apply for Inspector. Join our Server.
