Description
IBAMA (Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources) is Brazil's federal environmental enforcement agency responsible for protecting the nation's forests, wildlife, natural resources, and protected territories. Our mission is to combat illegal logging, illegal mining, wildlife trafficking, environmental crimes, and the destruction of protected lands through professional enforcement operations and environmental protection initiatives. Operating throughout Brazil's most challenging environments, our agents conduct inspections, investigations, jungle patrols, aerial reconnaissance, and coordinated enforcement actions to preserve the country's natural heritage.
