The Federal Marines Recreating an authentic Marine experience based on the American Civil War since 2020. ═────────────────────────────────────────═ The Marine Corps of 1861 was a shadow of what it would later become. Consisting of about 3000 inexperienced men led by a single colonel, the commandant himself, and scattered across various bases and the ships of what was then a tiny US Navy, the marines were primarily responsible for the protection of Navy warships, conducting boarding actions, and assisting in battles ashore. In TFM, we pride ourselves on creating an authentic recreation of the various roles the Marines played during the Civil War. ═────────────────────────────────────────═ You do not need to be in The Federal Army or The Federal Navy to join this group.
