Description
The brigade was formed at the end of December 1992, and was set up operationally on January 19, 1993. The unit was modeled on the famous JNA unit of the First Guards Motorized Brigade. The composition of the brigade consisted exclusively of young recruits and volunteers from the target Republika Srpska. The headquarters of the brigade are located first in H a n Pijesak and then in Kalinovik. --------------------------------------------- Бригада је формирана крајем децембра 1992. године, а оперативно је основана 19. јануара 1993. Јединица је направљена по узору на чувену јединицу ЈНА Прве гардијске моторизоване бригаде. Састав бригаде састојао се искључиво од младих регрута и добровољаца из циљне Републике Српске.
