Description
The Bulgarian Armed Forces were created shortly after the Liberation of Bulgaria from the Ottoman Empire in 1878. The Army participated in the Wars of National Unification, which include the Serbo-Bulgarian War of 1885, the First and Second Balkan War as well as both world wars. Going through the Communist period the Bulgarian army kept its reputation as being the most professional in the region. The Commander-in-Chief is the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, currently this position is occupied by SwornTreason.
