Description
Det Danske Dampskib-Selskab A/S (or DDDS) was formed as the result of a merger between the Danmark Norge Ferge Service and the Frederiksen & Møllers Sail Cargo Company, though the date of the merger is unknown due to reports lost in a fire. DDDS has been known as one of the most comfortable ways to travel the Atlantic from Denmark since then, building their first vessel in 1852, and many more afterwards.
