Republic of the Pleasant Plains Ideology: Constitutional Authoritarian Parliamentary Presidential Republic Anthem: You're A Grand Old Flag LORE: In the 1952 USA elections a party who heavily favored the interests of the people of the Great Plains known as the "Pleasant America Party" led by a certain Kentucky Colonel ran for the presidency. When it was revealed who won the PAP refused to concede the elections, forcing the incumbent president to mobilize forces. Due to the extreme reaction, the great plains states unified into the Pleasant plains, fending off the Americans, gaining new territory. America sued for peace and recognized Pleasant Plains after a year long war. Now, the new republic is born shaped into whatever you want it to be, unified by the Colonel.
