Marlowe County, West Virginia, 1991 The Marlowe County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for maintaining law and order throughout the county and providing police services to its unincorporated communities. Deputies patrol the county’s towns, highways, back roads, and remote woodland areas while responding to criminal complaints, traffic incidents, disturbances, warrants, and calls for assistance. The Sheriff’s Office also operates the county jail, provides courthouse security, and assists other local and state agencies when required. Serving Marlowe County since 1863.
