우리가 사는 세상은 사실 봉인된 박스 안이였다. 끊임없이 발전하는 과학 기술은 상당히 위험한 미래를 초래하고 있었다. 우리를 편하게 해주던 교통의 발달은… 바이러스가 곳곳으로 퍼지게 되는데 큰 도움을 주었다. 파괴적인 바이러스가 전세계를 휩쓸고… 기본적인 질서와 약속이 무너진 지금… 우리에게 내일이 있을까? 서기 2026년, 정체불명의 바이러스가 지구를 강타했다. 감염되면 신체 장애와 함께 뇌 통제 불능 상태가 되어 공격적인 성향을 보이고, 식인 행동도 하기 시작했다. 통합 정부는 백신,치료제 개발 포기 선언을 한 상태로 소멸해 버리고 정부가 소멸해 버리자 대규모 집단 감염이 이어진다. 살아남은 사람들은 생존을 위해 방황하기 시작하는데......
