The 42nd Regiment was made as a Scottish Regiment for the British Empire. It's main task was to defend the king in the Jacobite Rising of 1745, and to later fight overseas in Africa during the Zulu wars. Motto: "Nemo me impune lacessit." (Nobody assails me with impunity.)
