Description
Proxima, founded in 1842 as a Prussian pharmacy, swiftly evolved into a scientific powerhouse with substantial support from both government and private investors, notably the influential Scharfschütze Family. Over two centuries, it has solidified its position as a global leader in biological research, culminating in the establishment of a dedicated corporate city in Northeast Germany to house its colossal headquarters. Today, under the dynamic leadership of Anton Scharfschütze XIV, Proxima is in a fervent state of scientific innovation, driving the next wave of groundbreaking discoveries.
