1. Gardе-Regimеnt zu Fuß #8079629
Description
👑𝟏𝐒𝐓 𝐆𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐓👑 📌Early November 1806 a force consisting of the Grenadier Battalion No. 6, the 1st battalion of the Guards No. 15, and the King's Infantry Regiment No. 18 were brought together and formed into a single company. Two more companies were formed late January 1807. All of these companies were joined together early June 1807 and became the 1st Guard Battalion. Mid November 1808 it was expanded into two battalions, which were to become the 1st and 2nd battalions of the foot guards. The Guard Fusilier Battalion was formed mid May 1809 of small groups of men drawn from the foot guards, the Leib-Infanterie-Regiment No. 8, the 1ste Westpreussisches Infanterie-Regiment No. 6, and the Colbxrgsches Infanterie-Regiment No. 9, and several cavalry regiments. 🌿This is the definitive Napoleonic reenactment experience, with elements of the regiment drilling and living as it did in the year 1813 in the campaigns against the Napoleonic French.
