Description
Origin: Following the Seven-Hour War and Earth’s swift subjugation by the Combine, scattered pockets of human resistance began to emerge across the globe. Yet most were fractured, isolated, and unable to coordinate beyond local skirmishes. Amidst this chaos, a single unified paramilitary force rose to prominence known as PLASMA. PLASMA’s origins lay in a covert humanitarian effort that, over time, transformed into a hardened military initiative. Its ranks were built from the surviving personnel of a once mighty international research corporation that had supplied new technology to cities on every continent for profit. When the Combine invasion dismantled governments and crippled infrastructure, these survivors went underground, determined not to let the last embers of human independence die.
