Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 Slovakia split from Czechoslovakia on January 1, 1993, splitting the Czechoslovak Army between the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic in ratio of 3:1 for Czech Republic. Slovakia joined NATO in 2004, slowly starting to transfer its military to profesionalism. In 2006, the conscription was disbolished and the forces turned into fully profesionalism army. As of 2023, the army has about 20,000 active personnel and further modernizations of the army are being carried out. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Česť a Sláva!
