They believe that to restore the world, they must salvage and destroy pre-war technology as a way to please the "Old ways". These ideals have inherently made them enemies of the Brotherhood of Steel. The Servants of Old were responsible for the destruction of the Caswennan in 2294, knocking it out of the sky with trebuchets and ballistas positioned around their areas of influence in Cascadia. "Burn the past, free the future."
