Description
𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚 Raised as a Tercio to fight Portugal in 1658. And gaining it’s title and formation as the “Regimiento de Sevilla” in 1707 during the Spanish War of Succession, the regiment would see extensive service throughout the century, participating in conflicts against the Barbary States in Algeria, serving actively during the Polish War of Succession, and most notably would participate with great success during the Invasion of Portugal in 1762.
