"Serving The Deceased Since 2026" Budget Cap: 15 Employees The Ridgeway State Coroner's Office is responsible for investigating sudden, unexpected, and suspicious deaths within Ridgeway County. Its duties include determining the cause and manner of death, identifying deceased individuals and working closely with law enforcement and medical professionals. The office may also conduct or authorize autopsies, collect and transport deceased bodies to the morgue, and prepare official reports and death certificates as required by law.
