The Hoplites are famous for their renowned discipline and courage in the sight of battle and have been feared as the scourges of Theban expansion. This main army of Thebes is broken into two Lokhois. Lokhoi Cadmeia - Non citizens of Thebes. Lokhoi Herakles - Citizens of Thebes. To enlist into the ranks of the citizen army, a Boeothoi must be recruited by a Voithós or Axiomatikoi into a Lokhoi. ₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪
