The Virtual Alliance of Roblox Stagehand Employees (V.A.R.S.E) was founded in 2025 when a group of stagehands working within Roblox's virtual events and productions came together to form a collective. These workers pledged to support one another in securing fair wages, better working conditions, and expanded rights within the ever-evolving virtual entertainment industry. Today, we work across a wide range of areas, including Roblox game development, virtual concerts, in-game theater productions, live-streamed events, exhibitions, as well as the design, coding, and construction teams that support these dynamic virtual experiences. V.A.R.S.E represents hundreds of professionals in various roles throughout the Roblox platform. Our mission is to enhance the lives of all virtual entertainment workers, both inside the Roblox ecosystem and beyond, advocating for fair treatment, improved opportunities, and a meaningful impact on workers’ well-being both in and outside the virtual workplace
