3CMB is the UK's key Commando Force, responsible for operations within H IX in Afghanistan '09. The Commando Brigade is currently compromised of: - 45 Commando, Z Coy 1 and 2 Troop - 30 Commando, RMPT and BPT - 2 Royal Gurkha Rifles, A Coy 1 and 2 Platoon - Contingent of Joint Helicopter Command, Joint Helicopter Force Afghanistan 3CMB Headquarters: Major O. Baba - Responsible for oversees combat operations in Sangin, Helmand Province Major N. Medhurst - Responsible for overseeing command and training of the Brigade
