The Royal Tongan Defence Service is responsible for safeguarding the sovereignty and security of the Kingdom of Tonga. We are dedicated to protecting our nation, supporting regional stability, and serving our people with discipline, loyalty, and honour. Our duties include national defence, maritime surveillance, disaster response, peacekeeping operations, and ceremonial functions. Operating across land, sea, and air, we work in close cooperation with regional partners to ensure the safety and resilience of the Kingdom and its people.
