𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 The 1st Company Bengal Artillery was the first unit of the Bengal Artillery, raised in 1749 by the Honourable East India Company. It was quartered at Fort William at Calcutta and fought multiple engagements, notably the Battle of Plassey in 1757. Little is known about its Victorian history.
