Known for being the primary target of both native and clannoidic mortemite raids during the Mortemite Uprising (July 12 – August 3, 2025), the Viceroyalty fought relentlessly to keep hold to its then-"crown jewel." Since the Uprising, the Mortemite Gold Coast Colony has remained as a permanent VVV foothold in Mortem Metallum, especially whenever other groups of the Virtual Viceroyalty's autochthonous extended community make attempt to establish their own colonial footholds in/abroad Mortem.
