中華民國國防部是負責我國國防事務的最高行政機關，掌理建軍備戰、維護國家安全與領土主權的職責。其組織包含部本部、參謀本部及直屬的政治作戰局、軍備局、主計局、軍醫局、全民防衛動員署等單位，並下轄陸軍、海軍、空軍、憲兵、資通電軍等司令部，負責指揮與執行國軍的軍事任務。 The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China (R.O.C.) is the highest administrative body responsible for national defense. It oversees military development and preparation, and safeguards national security and territorial sovereignty. Its organizational structure comprises the headquarters, the General Staff Headquarters, and subordinate units such as the Political Warfare Bureau, the Armaments Bureau, the Accounting and Statistics Bureau, the Military Medical Bureau, and the National Defense Mobilization Agency. Under its jurisdiction lie the Army, Navy, Air Force, Military Police, and Information and Communications Command, responsible for commanding and executing the military's missions.
