𝟗𝟐𝐍𝐃 (𝐆𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐎𝐍 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒) 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐓 "𝘽𝙔𝘿𝘼𝙉𝘿!" Raised in Aberdeenshire in 1794 by the 5th Duke of Gordon, the 92nd saw action against the Danish in 1807 at Køge and Copenhagen, as well as in the Peninsula at Corunna in 1809. After participating in the disastrous Walcheren Campaign, the regiment distinguished itself at Badajoz in 1811, at Almaraz in 1812, as well as at Vitoria in 1813, winning battle honours for all three engagements. Standing fast on deployment against the retreating Grande Armee, the 92nd will doubtless display the traditional gallantry and steadfastness of all proud sons of Scotland. 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑: JamesDAngelis
