Description

Balamur's Riders are a Horderlander horde formed in 250 AE by Balamur the Lake Hordelander, after he learned that his father, Octar, was killed in battle during a raid on the Kingdom of Galerith's province of Relend. Upon hearing the news, Balamur swore that he would destroy Relend and burn it all to avenge his father. To do this, he would create a horde by uniting some of the various local semi-nomadic groups and settled subject peoples living on the shores of the large lake in the central Hordelands; through both conversation and through might. As soon as Balamur and his Lake Hordelanders riders were ready, they would begin the move east, getting closer and closer to Galerith. By late 258 AE Balamur's Riders would push through the Sudrend region and begin to lay waste to Relend.
