Description
The Ethics Committee oversees the moral and procedural integrity of all operations within the Foundation. Tasked with ensuring compliance to the Codex of Ethical Behavior, the Committee monitors personnel actions, reviews sensitive research projects, and evaluates incidents involving breaches of conduct. It operates independently from administrative influence, with authority to investigate, recommend sanctions, and uphold accountability at all levels except the Office of the Administrator. Maintaining strict confidentiality, the Committee balances security and ethical oversight, safeguarding both personnel and the Foundation’s mission while ensuring that containment procedures and experimentation adhere to the highest standards of moral responsibility.
