Morgan American Line #8323960
RoleplayENhistorical roleplaymaritime simulationearly 20th century
Description
Founded in 1837, Morgan American line started off as a freighter line, transporting goods from the Americas to Europe, specifically Great Britain. By the 1880s the line expanded into passenger services, purchasing older ships for trips to smaller less competitive ports. By the 1900s MAL had switched entirely to passenger liners, unlike the other American lines of the time, MAL built their own ships, fiercely competing with its European rivals. ———————————- We operate between 1913 and 1932. Our fleet consists of: The SS Providence: 1913-1929 (Under Construction) The SS Independence: (Not started) ———————————-
