Since our creation humanity has always tried to expand our knowledge and understanding of our world. The universe is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But within it also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since time itself. There is a danger to all secrets, both in seeking and knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some defy our understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched. The anomalies were one such secret. Nexus, however desired knowledge of these anomalies. Using them and experimenting we were able to create things that no other corporation or government could even think of. Enhanced cybernetics, increase of our senses, and weaponry that could tame the greatest of threats. But with that came sacrifice.
