The National Party have united the traditionalists, corporatists & nationalists, dominated the elections, with their Leader serving as President, the guiding light of the people. The Póilíní Slándála, Security Police, enforce the law and are responsible for national security, supported by the paramilitary Óglaigh (Volunteers) of the National Party, popularly known as the Greenshirts. The Aerchór Náisiúnta (National Air Corps) and the Arm Náisiúnta (National Army) are responsible for national defence.
