However, few Sith rejected this resurgence, as their vision of galactic domination through political maneuvering was a pale imitation of the true Sith philosophy. In defiance, the Sith loyalists splintered off, led by a dark figure who promised his followers freedom from the shackles of the bureaucratic politics. His purpose was clear: To wield power without hesitation, embrace the Dark Side, and live without answering to The Jedi Order.
