Leib-Grenadier Garde Regiment ───────────────────────────── Fortnue favors the bold. 𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐚 𝐢𝐮𝐯𝐚𝐭. Leib-Grenadier-Garde Regiment (Lifeguards) was a grenadier regiment that participated in the Battle of Jena–Auerstedt, 1806, and were assigned to the Prussian rearguard and were credited with minimizing the losses of the battle. The regiment was garrisoned in Dresden, and were primarily tasked with guarding the King of Saxony and his relatives. Much like the other regiments they underwent the military reform of 1810 and adopted French uniforms, hats and tactics. Regardless of such, the Lifeguard Grenadiers remained a small effective fighting force while being an excellent ceremonial unit. Join our communications server to enlist in this regiment!
