Description
The First Continental Light Dragoons, also known as Bland's Horse, was first authorized on the 8th of June 1776, organized between 13th of June and 10th of September 1776, and joined the Continental Army on the 25th of November, 1776, was a key Cavalry unit during the American Revolution. It was redesignated the First Legionary Corps on the 1st of January, 1781.
