Description
𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗺𝗶 𝘒𝘺𝘰𝘵𝘰 𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘗𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘦 Formed from the sword schools of Edo, the Shinsengumi was a special police force organized by the Tokugawa Shogunate. The Shinsengumi was founded to protect the Shogunate representatives in Kyoto at a time when civil unrest flowed throughout the city.
