Description
Where jack-o’-lanterns always burn, and no one knows who carved each turn. Bound by vine and shadow’s grace, rituals rise beneath moon’s face. The light still burns though harvest’s dead, a silent glow where none have tread. Twisted growth and creeping rot, it chooses who may leave and who may not. Soft glowing light and whispers spoke, through curling vines like drifting smoke. A sacred ground where no one knows, lit by lanterns that never chose. It keeps on growing every time, and hums a low and ghostly chime. Where vines will crawl and lanterns flare, it’s always autumn in the air. Decay with a grin that spreads so wide, beautifully wrong, no place to hide. A secretive order, cracked and worn, long forgotten.. but never mourned.. In the beginning, I was the creator. Now.. I’m just another piece of the puzzle. I built this place to grow on its own, and the vines know what to do. Step lightly.. the Patch remembers. PB
