“Built from the snowy ashes, the Socialist Republic of Lackawanna lives on!” The Socialist Republic of Lackawanna is one of the 5 nations in the Scranton area. It is the second most populous country of the 5 nations. The SRL has complete control of Dunmore, and parts of the Scranton Wasteland. As a multi-party democracy the country officially divides itself into 4 provinces (North Dunmore, South Dunmore, East Dunmore and West Dunmore) and an occupation zone (SRL Government Wasteland Occupation Zone). The Socialist Republic of Lackawanna was formed in 2032 by members of the local United Left Party. The SRL’s first action was the takeover of the Lackawanna County Hospital, and to turn the power back on. Unfortunately, the power plants were destroyed, all but one. An old coal powered power plant could still be used, so the SRL now uses the coal plant for its power.
