known as the Separatist Alliance, or simply referred to as the Separatists, was a confederation with limited recognition of outlying star systems in the galaxy that had declared War with the Galactic Republic The various commercial entities who joined under the banner of the Confederacy of Independent Systems pledged their forces to the military, creating one sprawling group of droids as well as organic forces, and local warriors, and was often referred to as the Droid Army, and was headed by a Supreme Commander & Sith Lord Count Dooku
