The Drakvyldian Royal Archive #8465341
Description
Throughout the domains of the Empire, one may find tomes and scrolls, warehouses and libraries, ships and dungeons, all bearing a seal of an ancient order of augurs and scribes as old as Rhallon itself- the Royal Archive. Mythic history cloaks the origins of the Royal Archive, whose existence was debated up until the order allied itself with Emperor Domnithicus I. It is unknown how one comes to adorn the robes bearing Royal Archive sigils; few have been welcomed into the order since the slaying of Domnithicus the Terrible. Order members are guided in the transmuting of unutterable arcane secrets, a privilege that was reserved for the archive when they allied themselves to Emperor Domnithicus I. Attending the storied annals of Rhallonic history, archivists maintain the Isle’s literary sagas and are responsible for all published materials within the Empire. The Archive serves Emperor Domnithicus I faithfully with a monopoly on publishing and full jurisdiction considering the arcane.
