Description
조선군 朝鮮軍 조선 왕조의 군사 조직으로, 국왕을 최고 지휘관으로 하는 중앙집권적 군대였다. 훈련도감과 오군영을 비롯한 여러 군영 체계로 구성되었으며, 수도와 전국 방위를 담당하였다. 군사 제도는 유교적 질서와 왕권 중심 체제를 기반으로 운영되었으며, 병농일치(兵農一致)의 원칙을 따랐다. 설립: 1392년, 태조 원년. The military forces of the Kingdom of Great Joseon — a centralized army under the supreme command of the king. It defended both the capital and the provinces. The system operated on Confucian state principles and the policy of Byeongnong Ilchi (“unity of soldier and farmer”). Founded: 1392, the first year of King Taejo’s reign.
