Description
The National Gendarmerie of Merendia (Also colloquially known as the Main Army) is the primary service branch as well as the land service branch of the nation's armed forces. The MNG traces its roots to the Righteous People's Marshalcy of Merendia, which was dissolved in 1968 following the formation and reorganization of Merendia's Gendarmes. The MNG is currently responsible for most matters regarding the foreign and domestic self-defense of Merendia as well as maintaining Merendia's national stability through provisional rule in joint with the Koimonate.
