Description
The Coruscant Guard does far more than just stand around the Senate—they’re essentially the Republic’s full-spectrum military police force, handling anything that keeps Coruscant stable and the government protected. They patrol Galactic City, run checkpoints, investigate crimes involving clones or military personnel, escort senators, guard prisons, respond to riots, secure crash sites, track fugitives, and coordinate with the civilian Coruscant Security Force when situations escalate beyond normal policing. They’re also deployed for high‑risk operations involving political threats, Jedi investigations, or sensitive intelligence. Because they answer directly to the Chancellor, they gain expanded authority during the Clone Wars, making them one of the most powerful and feared clone units in the Republic.
