Description
The Regiment of the Gardes Françaises (Gardes du Roi or just French Guards) were an elite guard regiment under the Kingdom of France. Formed from the ###### du Roi (King's Household) in the 1690s until the outbreak of the French Revolution in 1789. They were tasked with the protection of the royal family and protecting important figureheads in the French government and nobility. They also took part in combat. Any officers who provided soldiers who couldn't make the cut were harshly punished. Our goal is to form a small regiment of these Guards who have exceptional skill in melee and overall combat.
