Српска Крајина Republika Srpska Krajina Republic of Serbian Krajina Republika Srpska Krajina (abbreviated RSK, or Serbian Krajina or only Krajina), was a short-lived state in Southeast Europe, internationally unrecognized. Serbian Krajina covered most of its territory in the area of former Military Krajina, in the area of the following districts: Croatian Military Border, Slavonian Military Border, and Dunav Military Border. Serbian Krajina was created in response to the actions of the Croatian authorities, which pursued a policy of secession from Yugoslavia, as well as the aspiration of Serbs in Croatia to remain in Yugoslavia.
