Description
The 27e Régiment d’infanterie de Ligne was created in 1798, as one of the 30 Line Infantries to be created at the time. The 27e fought against, the Rébellion du Lâche at Valhalla. The 27e fought fiercely as they were outnumbered and earned the nickname, "Ligne De Bravoure"(Line of Bravery) for showing their bravery of holding off a organized rebellion. After showing more heroics and bravery, the regiment was able to add, "Ligne De Bravoure" to the regiment colour. "Ligne De Bravoure!" "Line of Bravery!"
