I bid you welcome, one and all, to our newest members — and most especially to those who presently find themselves attired in the sombre habiliments of deep mourning! This Society was constituted with the express design of gathering together a community of persons who hold in the highest esteem the fashions and customs of the Victorian age — and, above all else, the customs of mourning thereof. Should either of these particulars find your favour, then rest assured you have come to the proper place. We are accustomed to hold game nights, gatherings, recruitment events, and assemblies at the Briar-Rose Estate. Proper dress is earnestly preferred at every gathering, and is held to be altogether required for recruitment and for any visit to the Estate.
