Description

“The little boy from Ros ario Argentina on behalf of every little boy wearing his shirt. Messi on a million backs, Messi for a million flashbulbs. One kick of the ball, one kick of the football. He has done it before. He had done it before many times at the Nou Camp. Around Spain. Around Europe. He has done it brilliantly for his Nation, especially in this competition. He must do it now. Messi must….” …And Messi did it.

Growth

2 measurements spanning 32 days, net -1. Dots are measurements; the straight line between them is drawn to join them, not to claim we know the path taken in between — snapshots are recorded only when a count changes, so gaps mean “no change observed”, never “interpolated”. The vertical axis spans 33–34 and does not start at zero.
