Description

𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐎: Following setbacks in the Crimean conflict, British forces underwent major reforms to improve organization, discipline, and effectiveness. By the late 1850s, this new force played key roles in the Indian uprising and East Asia campaigns. Our focus is on the Russian and Indian theatre, where British and allied troops engage in critical operations to restore order and secure imperial control during a turning point in Victorian military history.
