Peasants, artisans, and deserters overthrew the nobility and rejected monarchy, centralized government, and private land ownership. Instead of establishing a republic, they formed a stateless network of self-governing communes. Though inspired by Enlightenment ideals and revolutionary French, Valtneria went further—abolishing permanent offices, wages, and hereditary authority.
