Description
The 53rd Mechanized Brigade (53-тя ОМБр) of the Ukrainian Ground Forces was formed in 2014 in the village of Nova Lyubomyrka in Rivne Oblast. It is now subordinated to Operational Command East. The brigade includes three mechanized battalions, a tank battalion, artillery, two battalion tactical groups, air defense and an intelligence company. Company "Ho rlivka" is subordinated to the 53rd OBMr's tank battalion, it's duties in the battlefields of Vulehdar being to hunt down and destroy enemy armor, as well as supporting infantry elements.
