6. 𝕱𝖗𝖊𝖎𝖜𝖎𝖑𝖑𝖎𝖌𝖊 𝕻𝖆𝖓𝖟𝖊𝖗𝖌𝖗𝖊𝖓𝖆𝖉𝖎𝖊𝖗-𝕭𝖗𝖎𝖌𝖆𝖉𝖊 𝖂𝖎𝖐𝖎𝖓𝖌𝖊𝖗 ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ The 6th Freiwillige Panzergrenadier-Brigade “Wikinger” was formed on 14 January 1943 amid growing pressure on the Eastern Front, composed of foreign volunteers and remnants of depleted units. After heavy fighting and a failed attempt to capture a key city, the brigade suffered severe losses and was reorganized on 31 January 1944, consolidating various volunteer legions under one command.
